Safe Spot Lock is a child-resistant trigger lock, not a gun safe.
It’s designed for moments when you need your firearm nearby—but still want it protected from curious hands. It complements your safe, rather than replacing it.

I already own a gun safe. Why would I need this too?

You're not alone. In fact, most of our customers already own a safe.
Safe Spot is for when your firearm isn’t in the safe—like when your safe is inconveniently positioned in your home and you want a handgun nearby without sacrificing security. It gives access to your emergency handgun during times when quick access matters.
Think of it as a second layer of protection for your real-world routine.

How is this different from a biometric or combination lock?

Biometric and combo locks can be fast—when they work.
But batteries die, fingerprints fail, and codes get forgotten.
Safe Spot uses a mechanical twist-to-unlock system inspired by child-resistant pill bottles: no electronics, no keys, just instinctive access for trained hands.

Will it fit my handgun?

Our design is compatible with most standard trigger guard handguns, but it’s currently only designed for the Glock series of handguns. Glock handguns have consistent trigger guards and rails that make it easier to work with. They’re also the most commonly owned home defense handgun.

What ages is this designed to resist?

Our child-resistance standard is based on a simple test:
A child under 5 should be unable to access the trigger within 5 minutes.
And in our experience, five minutes is often long enough for their attention to shift.

How does it actually work?

Is it legal in my state?

Yes. Trigger locks are legal in all 50 states.
Safe Spot is designed to comply with current federal safety guidelines, but you should always check local laws to ensure your full setup is compliant.

Can I use this instead of my safe?

Safe Spot is not meant to replace a safe. It’s a smarter option for everyday access—not long-term storage.
Think of it like this:

• The safe is for when you leave.

• Safe Spot is for when you stay.

What makes it different from other trigger locks?

Most trigger locks are either hard to remove in a hurry—or require inconvenience storage locations.
Safe Spot was designed to live in the sweet spot between those extremes:
Fast for adults. Frustrating for kids.

What if I want to travel with my firearm?

Safe Spot adds peace of mind during travel—but it doesn’t take the place of locked cases required for air or interstate travel.
Use it in addition to your travel case or safe when you need temporary, accessible protection.
